Texted Richard on Saturday “you ok to do the 4-0 match report  tomorrow?”

“No problem, hope your prediction is right”

And no, I didn’t have a bet on it.

Nice bright day for a change. Plenty of Leeds floating around. One bloke was completely bald and tattoed all over his head including the Leeds logo. Hope they don’t change it again.

Was told it was going off on Grey Mare Lane. Anyway  the early goal settled us down, and after having  an appeal turned down we got a softish pen and the game was virtually all over. Wondered if the Leeds fans could be self deprecating and they were  to a point. (I did stand up when they chanted “stand up if you hate manu”)

So despite digging Richard the third up there was no revival for the Yorkies and some revenge for them chanting “City are back” at us when we lost 3-0 at Elland Road on our return to the Prem that time.

Draw was good to us. Barnsley at home. Didn’t we put 7 past them last time we played? As did the Arse against Blackburn pre their 1-0 home defeat. Don’t worry though we won’t slip up.

So a step back on the road to recovery after Southampton, let’s hope it continues next Sunday against Chelsea. Wemberlee, Wemberlee…….
