Arse

Spot on fellas. Watched it on TV and was appalled at Quinny's summarising totally concentrating on Arsenal and what they should do.  He should remember that he spent more time at City (I think) than Arsenal and i can only assume he was to spend time with Arsenal folk at The Emirates'

  2. On a positive note I thought Garcia looked solid in the holding role in mf. He took up the right positions defensively, did a good job applying pressure on Arsenal's mf, and effectively kept possession with neat and tidy passes which may not have been spectacular but with Silva on top of his game and Milner everywhere, they don't need to be. An under the radar performance. Hope there's more to come.

  3. Btw anyone else think City should make a loan offer for Sneijder. He desperately wants out of Inter, wants to go to title contesting club but his agent feels Inter is asking too much for a transfer fee. This is creative mf who can hit thru balls from the defensive half. Just a thought tho I stress it should only be a loan offer.

  4. Milner was exceptional vs Arsenal. Lots of good inside-out runs and simple passes when on the ball to retain possession and keep the play moving. This contrasts to Nasri who holds the ball longer and allows defenders to recover space and positions all too easily at times. I am a big fan of Milner's more simplistic style. The Kompany tackle was always going to be red carded at full speed. On closer viewing in slow motion it looks a reasonable tackle based on Wilshire over running the ball. Hmmm, not sure how the appeal will go as the referee will state his report of the incident which will be a red card for use of excessive force and the FA may just go with that without even using the video of the incident as this is way Misconduct is handled at all levels of the game.

  5. Wasn't is refreshing to have a wide player who can actually cross the ball at pace rather than a forward pulling wide towards the corner flag with nobody in the middle.
Not sure why Dzeko took the penalty, but at least he gets into goal scoring positions. Tevez and Balotelli might be more skilful, but Dzeko will always score more goals.
The Kompany dismissal was a bit like Nasri's at Norwich. Harsh, but technically correct.
Would Scholes have been sent off for the same offence?...answers on a postcard.
